Nothing, really -- a generic crew knit in the round Yarn: Shaeffer's
handpainted merino
This was my first modern foray into variegated (handpainted)
yarn. I like the way it has the travelling stripes across the
body, though it breaks up in the neck shaping.
The yarn colours are very vibrant -- they are what attracted me
inexorably to the hanks of yarn in the shop!
In the sunshine, you get a
better sense of the colours and vibrancy of the yarn, as well as the
many different colours in play. Truly, like a painted canvas.

sunlight. You can see why it was impossible to resist!
