Summer Diamonds (2009)

Pattern: Diamond Patch Sweater, by Jill Vosburg

Yarn: Green Mountain Spinnery's "Sylvan Spirit" (900yds)
Method: Knitting
Completed: September 4, 2009.

This was a modular knit -- make all the (mitred) diamonds for the bottom row, and then pick up stitches along 1 side of 2 diamonds to make next row up, hooking them all together. Interesting fixes for the neckline (and filling in the back of the neck). I did an odd number of rows, which goes against the recommendation (one fewer row, and it would have been too short; one more would have been too long on me).

Final dimensions: 19" wide, 20.5" shoulder to bottom point (17" upper cut of last row).
