4oz of Wild Hare Fibers Blue-Faced Leicester top, spun on my Schacht
Matchless. Approx 249yds 3-ply and 128yds Navajo-plied.
The straight 3-ply is a little underplied -- I was testing the
loop-back while plying, but the singles were rested, so that
gave me bad guidance. Still working on my N-plying technique
-- lots of breaks.
I measured the lengths by counting the number of strands in the
skein and multiplying that by the length of the skein (after soaking
and drying, to set it).
The fibre, as it came out
of the bag -- semi-solid colour.
