Summer Waters Socks (2010)
July 26, 2010 - No Comments
Pattern: Usual sock hybrid Yarn: Zittron Trekking Hand Art, (approx 274m) Method: Hand knitting Completed: July 26 2010. |
These are my standard socks — toe up, following Wendy’s Toe-Up pattern, and Cat Bordhi’s Riverbed Arch expansion/plain heel. I did a basic twisted stitch pattern to make upwards-pointing “V”s in the ankle, with a bit of ribbing. I didn’t want anything that would be too distracted by the variegated colouring in the yarn.
Overall, they are nice and stretchy and comfortable. A bit of a “woolly” feel.
