Blue Fields Socks (2013)

blue fields Pattern:  Usual Hybrid Sock Pattern

Yarns:
  Claudia Handpaints “Blue Fields”
Method:  Hand knitting
Completed:  February 1, 2013.

These are my standard socks — toe up, following Wendy’s Toe-Up pattern, and Cat Bordhi’s Riverbed Arch expansion/plain heel.   I did a chevron pattern to reduce the stripey effect.

I wound up having to re-knit the first ankle after deciding it was too tight with only 4 stitches increased from the foot circumference.  In the end, I added 12 stitches over the foot circumference.  They’re still a little snug to pull over my heel, but they fit well.
